San Diego Daily Dive Reports

Visibility: 5-15 feet

Surf: 3-4 feet

Water temp: 61-63

South swell fills in and peaks today. Onshore winds expected throughout the day which will add some texture to the water. Watch for large tide swings, especially the outgoing tide (which will make the viz worse)

Visibility: 10-20 feet

Surf: 2-4 feet

Water temp: 61-63

Little bit of cloud cover with some onshore wind early this morning, as well as an increase in swell (it's a South swell so the Cove and the Shores should be well protected). Expect visibility to still be in the good range, though not quite as clear as the past few days

Visibility: 15-25

Surf: 1-3 feet

Water temp: 62-64

Great report coming in from the La Jolla area of visibility in the 20 foot range! More reports off boomers beach yesterday said it was hazy from the surface to about 10 feet, but cleared up nicely below that. Should be a great day to get out there!

Visibility: 5-15 feet

Surf: 1-3 feet

Water temp: 62-64

More great conditions right now! Some areas still have a little bit of leftover red tide but only a small surface layer, most areas are nice and clear with some great reports of the visibility! Looks like a great day to get wet!

Visibility: 10-20 feet

Surf: 1-3 feet

Water temp: 62-64 degrees

More great conditions at the surface as we figure out where this red tide is! Some spots reporting great conditions, others are in the fair region. Either way it's definitely worth getting out there, expect to see 15'+ visibility

Visibility: 15-25 feet

Surf: 1-3 feet

Water temp: 62-64

Another great day for diving! Solid reports coming in from the La Jolla area, lots of life around and very clear water. Definitely a good day to get out there!

Visibility: 15-25 feet

Surf: 1-3 feet

Water temp: 63-65

Beautiful day out and the water is nice and clear! Great reports from La Jolla Shores, there might still be some pockets of red tide hanging around here and there but overall conditions are great for diving today!

Visibility: 10-20 feet

Surf: 1-3 feet

Water temp: 62-64

Looks like things are clearing up! Good reports yesterday from the Cove of around 20' visibility...there are still some pockets of red tide hanging around but it's clearing up nicely

Visibility: 0-10' in the shallows due to red tide, 10-20' once you get below the layer (maybe around 30' deep)

Surf: 1-3 feet

Water temp: 62-64

Red tide is still making things tricky. Lots of areas have the bloom within the first 15-30' of depth, and visibility is extremely low in those areas. Once deep enough it clears up to 10-20' visibility or so. There are areas without red tide so take a look from shore before you hop in
