San Diego Daily Dive Reports

Visibility: 5-15 feet

Surf: 1-2 feet

Water temp: 68-71 F surface, 55 F at depth

Yesterdays' breeze kept the water pretty murky, though it's nice and clear below about 30' (expect 20-35' viz down there). Surface layer is quite murky though

Visibility: 5-15 feet

Surf: 1-2 feet (choppy)

Water temp: 68-71 F surface, 55 F at depth

Wind has been on it overnight making for choppy surface conditions and murky water. Below 30' it opens up very nicely though

Visibility: 15-25 feet

Surf: 1-2 feet

Water temp: 68-72 F

Water is clearing up and the ocean is flat! Expect 15+ foot viz in most areas, and more like 20-25 in others (especially before the afternoon wind chop). Get out there today!

Visibility: 10-20 feet

Surf: 1-2 feet

Water temp: 68-71 F

Time to get wet! Water is clearing up...definitely some murky areas but there's plenty of clarity out there! Flat seas will help out as well. Go dive!

Visibility: 10-20 feet

Surf: 1-2 feet

Water temp: 68-71 F

Water is warm, waves are tiny, and the viz is starting to creep up! Some great conditions at the Marine Room yesterday, still patches of murk but it's definitely improving. Get out there!

Visibility: All over the place! 20-30 in Point Loma, 10-20 in La Jolla, Pea Soup in lots of other places

Surf: 1-2 feet

Water temp: 66-69 F

Weird and shifty viz right now, some spots are crystal clear while others (including offshore and the islands) are green and murky. Great surface conditions so worth finding a good pocket of viz

Visibility: 5-15 feet

Surf: 2-3 feet

Water temp: 65-68 F surface, 52-56 F depth

Waves are calming down, visibility is slowly clearing up. Don't expect anything crazy, but conditions should be diveable for sure

Visibility: 0-10 feet

Surf: 2-4 feet

Water temp: 65-68 F

Lots of swell this past weekend and most areas are super murky. Saw about 5' viz at the surface while line diving in La Jolla Canyon, though it opened up to about 15' around 80' of depth. Expect less than 10' viz in most places today
